Tsinelas is finalizing plans for an art workshop to be held this summer. The workshop will be a tie-up with Beyond Art’s Sake, a group of visual artists that assists non-government organizations in their projects. The workshop will be a tie-up with Beyond Art’s Sake, a group of visual artists that assists non-government organizations in their projects.

Unlike the past Tsinelas art workshops whose purpose was simply to develop the participants’ artistic skills, the summer workshop will not only teach children the basics in painting and sketching, it will also teach them how to learn more about themselves and their environment through art.

The “art as therapy” workshop is one of the series of workshops Tsinelas will organize next year.
